I had the idea of simulating the double slit experiment a while ago, with the aim of varying the distance between the slits and then simulate the interference pattern on the wall. It got stuck on the math, it was too much math simply… So now I know, the interesting distance is the distance between two hydrogen atoms in a hydrogen molecule.

What is the practial importance? I can imagine that quantum computers must have parts that are smaller than this scale, otherwise you would have no quantum things happening.
